Nanotecnologia e nanoelettronica: rivoluzione in arrivo dalla IBM

Nei precedenti post avevamo parlato di nanotubi in carbonio e del ruolo predominante che assumeranno nel futuro nella nanotecnologia in generale e nella nanoelettronica in particolare.

Ebbene la IBM ha comunicato di aver realizzato il primo circuito elettronico integrato completo attorno ad un’unica molecola “nanotubo di carbonio”, che potrebbe permettere un aumento di prestazioni rispetto agli attuali semiconduttori in silicio.
